By increasing your search criteria the advanced search allows you to more effectively find the job you are looking for, displaying only the jobs that are of interest to you.

Job Alerts
You may save your search criteria as a Job Alert. A Job Alert will email you the results of your search at a frequency that suits you, ensuring you have the latest jobs delivered to your inbox. You can also run your Job Alert at any time from your account area.

To set up a Job Alert click on the email icon

on the search results or job details page.

Keyword(s)

Include the word(s)
	in title & job description in title
Exclude the word(s)
	in title & job description in title

The keyword fields search within the text of the job title and job description allowing you to more accurately specify the job you are looking for.

An unlimited number of keywords may be used, seperate keywords with commas.

e.g. Welder, Fitter, Electrician

You can also search for exact phrases by surrounding text with quotes.

e.g. "Hand Signallers" , "Mechanical Fitters" ;

Location

Town(s)

Use commas to seperate more than one town. Towns with more than one word in their name you may wish to surround with quotes to narrow down your search results. e.g. "Milton Keynes"

County	OR	Region

Country

Salary Range

To search by salary range select the Salary Type. Then in the From and To fields enter lower and upper salary limits in numerics only.

e.g.
Salary Type Annual. From 15000 To 25000
Salary Type Daily. From 40 To 70
Salary Type Hourly. From 10 To 20

Job Type

Permanent	Contract
Temporary	Part Time

Hide job summaries on results page

Leaving this box unchecked shows a brief description of the job on the search results page. Ticking this box and just the Job Title, Location and Salary will be shown on the search results page.

If you save this search as a Job Alert then these preferences will apply to your emailed search results also.
