Our client is looking for Structural Steel Estimator to join their busy team.
You will be responsible for evaluating tenders and submitting quotations to meet client specifications. Be able to demonstrate the ability to ’take off’ steelwork from engineering drawings and input data into FabTrol MRP system and Excel
Ideally 5 years experience within Structural Steel Estimating
Must be able to work on your own reporting directly to the MD.
It is essential that you can demonstrate good IT and communication skills
You will be based onsite but must attend tendering meetings based with clients therefore customer facing skills are essential to assist with negotiations.
A heavy engineering or Construction background and knowledge of fabrication and welding are essential. A strong communicator with good organisational skills preferred.
