My client a well established Specialist Engineering and Fabrication company
over a variety of industries require an experienced Site Services Department
Manager to join the team. The company are part of an international group and
work to ISO 9001 standards
Candidates should have worked in the area of site installation associated with
multi component mechanical plant and have the ability to plan and co-ordinate
multiple site activities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in site services management
preferably within a heavy industrial engineering environment.
-Experience of site management or working as a planning supervisor, planning
site work
-Candidates should be fully conversant with the Health and Safety at work act
and CDM regulations.
-Candidates should be from a large heavy mechanical plant background, not
component manufacture.
DESIRABLE
-HNC level or higher in an Engineering discipline
-Ideally be time served within a similar industry.
ROLE INFORMATION IN DETAIL:
-Will be a hands on role with knwoledge of MS project software an advantageas
used to prepare site programs
-Will be mainly office based with some site visits
-Responsible for organising all trades people, forepersons, preparing risk
assesments and method statements.
-Will be reponsible for managing the dismantling, refubishment and
installation of large complex structures and or moving equipment, which may
include drives,gears valves and pumps
-Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are
being adhered to.
-Should have a working kowledge of CDM regulations
