Hours of work
a.Alternate shifts required (full time position)
1.Objectives
a.to manage the various facets of welding inspection and
quality control
b.to assess the validity of a welding procedure
c.to recognise origins of weld defects
d.to interpret features of a welding and dimensional
defect and prepare detailed reports
e.to scrutinise and correct inspection reports
f.to plan, organise and supervise use of skilled
inspectors and NDT personnel
g.to conduct pre-, during and post welding audits
h.the ability to work with client based Inspection staff
I.Implementation of contract quality plans
j.Proactive approach to the reduction of welding defects
2.Qualifications
a.CSWIP Level 3 - Senior Welding Inspector
3.Experience
a.5 years minimum experience in the Gas and Oil Industry
in the position of Senior Welding Inspector
