PRODUCTION PLANNER

Salary: £18000 - £22000 per annum

OVERVIEW:
Production Planner required to ensure product quality, production efficiencies and customer requirements are met.
Must have experience in a manufacturing industry.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Production Planning experience.
Ability to be articulate while working under pressure and to time constraints.
Manufacturing industry experience.
ROLE:
-Sequencing of orders to be mixed in production
-All orders & mixes are communicated well within the factory.
-Change new through puts into lotus 1-2-3
-Sort replans & produce shortfalls report for plan.
-Produce test plan via access reports
-Check test plan
-When shortfall complete check test plan & complete to plan
-Print pick sheet for warehouse / dispensary/stores
-Print access report to produce final plan template
-Photocopy & distribute all plans.
-Deals with all internal & external queries
-Regular hourly phone calls to update production & planning on attainment to plan
-Understand planned maintenance for next week to organise plan
-Inform Customer Planner of raw Material & Planning issues which will impact on delivery dates
