MULTISKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER ~ BAKERY

Salary: £26000 - £28000 per annum + £13.50 per hr + BENS ON APPLICATION

MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - BAKERY
SALARY - £13.50ph / £27500pa approx.
LOCATION - WORCESTERSHIRE

FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

* * * CRAFT APPRENTICE BACKGROUND AND TRAINING * * *
Full understanding the function and maintenance of all service plant
Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all production machinery and associated ancillary equipment.
Diagnosing and rectifying faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and PLC systems.
Ensuring full and accurate documentation of all planned and breakdown work.
Ensuring that all work is carried out to acceptable standards.
Carrying out specific projects and duties requested by the Engineering Manager.
Liaising effectively with all departments
Ensuring compliance with any environmental and hygiene considerations at all times.
Carrying out all duties in a safe and competent manner.
Ensuring that the Engineering Supervisor is kept informed at all times
Implementing modifications and improvements to all levels to improve efficiency.
Pro-active approach to continuous improvement and downtime reduction initiatives.
Carrying out planned maintenance work including lubrication, routine electrical and mechanical inspections on plant and machinery
Cover emergency situations outside normal factory hours, including holiday and sickness cover.
Liaise directly with technical services and suppliers to minimise downtime.
Any other reasonably requested duties.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE ARE:
Formal Engineering apprenticeship
Good numerical and mechanical aptitude. - Level 2
16th Edition Electrical Certificate or at least 2 years electrical experience
Capable of lifting weights up to 25Kg
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE ARE
Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene
FLT Counterbalance
MS Office - Basic
Basic Health & Safety Certificate
