OVERVIEW
-Provide metallurgical knowledge and skills which will ensure compliance of company product with our customers’ requirements
-Resolve technical issues relating to material
purchase and processing through the supply chain
-To develop new products and
manufacturing methods.
- Responsible for reporting to senior managers, sales
team and customers, so previous experience of presentations to all levels.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent understanding of metallurgy and
material processing
-Understanding of Quality procedures
-Excellent
attention to detail
-Good understanding of Inspection procedures and
processes
-In depth knowledge of mechanical, non-destructive testing and
corrosion testing.
DESIRABLE
-Degree level or higher in a Metallurgy or
Materials Science discipline, ideally educated to PhD level.
-Previous experience with Stainless Steel
ROLE INFORMATION IN DETAIL:
-Manage, monitor, and proactively advise on
hot material conversion
-Design / Preparation of production routes
-Prepare
methods of manufacture
-Customer Liaison
-Involvement with customer Audits
of the Company
-Investigation of non-conformances
- Develop and maintain
in-house specifications, quality plans and manufacturing procedures.

Resolve raw material and manufacturing process metallurgical problems
