Mechanical Estimator
Location:
Birmingham, England, West Midlands
Salary: £35000 - £40000 per annum + Car allowance + package
Job Type: Permanent
A large very well respected M&E instillations contractor has registered a requirement for a competent mechanical estimator with experience in the building services industry.
You will be responsible for producing estimates from enquires up to around £3m M&E value.
You should have:
Relevant technical qualification, C&G or ONC in Mechanical Building Services
Knowledge of current legislation, Approved Codes of Practice and industry trends
Sound business acumen
Contractual knowledge
Sound commercial judgement
Ability to provide technical solutions where no specification exists
Client facing role so effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Strong problem solving, organisational and co-ordination skills
IT Literate (Word, Excel, Project), with experience in using and manipulating estimating software
Knowledge of Health and Safety and CDM regulations
