MAINTENANCE FITTER - STAFFORD SITE
We have a vacancy for a qualified fitter with previous experience in a maintenance role.
You will be involved in both maintenance and major overhaul of site process plant, including process mixing equipment.
Knowledge of packaging machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and mechanical site services is required together with general workshop machining skills. You will also be expected to undertake tasks on equipment installed in hazardous areas.
As part of our commitment to provide a first class maintenance engineering resource, you will participate in a continuous training programme to achieve multi-skilled status in order to meet the changing demands of developing technology. You will need to be conscientious, self-motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision.
The position requires shift work on a three shift basis of days/mornings/afternoons.
38 hours per week
Starting rate Grade C £9.6639 per hour, £19,095 per annum plus shift £2161 per annum.
Increase to Grade D after training (3-6 months) £10.2892 per hour, £20,331 per annum plus shift £2161 per annum.
Holidays 26.5 per annum plus bank holidays
