Environment
24 hour x 7 day manufacturing and packaging in a GMP clean environment.
The Equipment
High speed packaging equipment (bottles, tubes, blisters, sachets) including check weighers, cartonners, leafleters, fillers, shrink wrap heat sealers
High speed manufacturing equipment – tablet presses and liquid mixers
Process Control equipment and associated items including computer controlled equipment
Will also be involved in general site maintenance duties including lighting, general office equipment etc.
The Role
Working alternating double day shift (one week 0600 – 14.00; one week 14.00 – 22.00) the job encompasses fault finding, rectification, maintenance, modifications, installation, testing and commissioning.
The Candidate
Completed an electrical apprenticeship
Trained in BS7671 16th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations Ideally have a good working knowledge of PLCs, automation and possess PC skills with a minimum of three years post apprenticeship factory experience.
Terms & Conditions
Hours – 35.5 per week
Mon – Thurs
06.00 – 14.00 with 30 minute unpaid break
14.00 – 22.00 with 30 minute unpaid break
Friday
06.00 – 11.45 with 15 minute unpaid break
14.00 – 17.30 with 15 minute unpaid break
Holidays – 25 days in full year (Jan – December)
Sick Pay – up to 3 months after completing 6 months service. Nil in 1st 6 mths
Pension – company money purchase with matched company contributions
For permanent role would assist with relocation costs
