Engineering Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leader

JOB TITLE: ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR - 2 year fixed term contract
LOCATION: CHESHIRE
SALARY AND BENEFITS: CIRCA £33k + pension + private medical + dental cover + bonus

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an Engineering Supervisor.
ROLE INFORMATION:
Reporting to the Engineering Leader you will be responsible for the support and guidance of an engineering team consisting of 8 technicians and 2 apprentices. Responsible for ensuring machine downtime is kept to an absolute minimum, increasing OEE and driving forward CI initiatives. Supporting technicians with larger breakdowns and PPM schedules. Responsible for the day to day management of a multiskilled team - line management, appraisals, labour planning, overtime, holidays, training , developing apprentices.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
-a time served engineer with proven supervisory / leadership skills
-experience within a Food / FMCG/ Process /Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
-experience of developing, implementing and managing PM schedules
-experience of working with a CMMS
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
-ideally you will be electrically biased-
-experience of planning shutdowns
-experience of fault finding on PLC’s ( Siemens Step 5&7)
-experience of adhering to GMP / high compliance standards
