Job responsibilities You will be working within a team of three reporting to the facilities manager, carrying out installations, repairs and maintenance to facilities and plant such as a brand new powdercoat paint line, plasmas, press-brakes and overhead cranes. You will be required to support the site as and when needed, sharing responsibility for out of normal day-time shift hours tasks (such as emergency break-downs) with your colleagues. Job Description To:- Maintain and repair a variety of machinery, metal cutting and overhead cranes. Working knowledge of PLC control and a understanding of motor control circuits Be able to demonstrate experience in planned and preventative maintenance Electrical and controls fault finding ability Electrical installation and testing/certification Plan continuous improvements demonstrate mechanical skills Investigation of reported defects in order to carry our prompt repair. Defect Analysis and countermeasure To maintain and improve clear communication between departments Ensure customer satisfaction To be flexible to company requirements and needs Person Profile The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications City and Guilds 2391 in test and inspection City and Guilds 2392 certification BS 7671 16th edition wiring regulations Experience of powdercoat paintlines would be a distinct advantage as would experience of administering a TPM system.
