BUSINESS UNIT OPERATIONS MANAGER
LOCATION - CORBY
SALARY - £c45000+CAR+BENEFITS
As an engineering individual by nature, and one who is capable of engineering processes and machinery towards effective operational improvements, you will have a clear understanding of both Manufacturing and Engineering Processes.
Working with the production management teams, reporting to both the Manufacturing Manager and Engineering Manager you will be able to bring in solutions and improvements to manufacturing problems, procedures and operations such that KPI’s, Quality, Service levels can be improved.
This role is about quality, engineering, and continuous improvements.
Key Aspects for this role are:
Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, then Factory Manager
Responsible for team / shift engineering
Engineering improvements background
Continuous improvement based
Product quality focused
Project Management team available for specific projects
Role aims to deliver KPI’s improvements through better manufacturing and engineering
Shared reporting to Factory Engineering Manager
Has a base of Team Leaders / Engineers reporting into role.
You MUST have an engineering background, and may well have been or be a chief engineers assistant, have been on improvement projects, or be a manufacturing candidate from an engineering background initially.
