Location: South London, South Bermondsey
12tonne drivers required to manage and deliver product to customer sites ensuring that customers receive excellent service at all times. Multi-drops (12-30 drops) made throughout day so good use of initiative and motivation to meet all set deliveries required. Must have held driving license minimum of 5 years, be clean and accident free (copy required including counterpart). Will be loading and unloading the vehicles lifting 18Kg loads regularly throughout the day, therefore physically fit applicants need only apply. Actively seek opportunities to increase revenue on product service & sales. Ensure all deliveries are signed for by the customer. Maintain all records and company systems/ digital taco-graphs. Inspect the vehicle on a daily basis-clean and road worthy. Undertake any emergency deliveries. Comply with all legislation governing driving and break times. Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company policy including manual handling and vehicle/ road safety. Route planning knowledge is essential. Additional requirements: Ability to use handheld PDA’s and experience with digital tachographs, be cleanly shaven each shift, smartly presented wearing plain black/ navy trouser and polo T-shift (NO JEANS AND TRAINERS ALLOWED!!)
