Preston rail station is located just across the road from Fishergate car park.

Directions to Preston from the M6

Come off the M6 at Junction 31, follow the signs for Preston, "The Tickled Trout Hotel" is on your right hand side.

Go up the hill, over the pelican crossing and at the roundabout go straight ahead onto New Hall Lane. Follow New Hall Lane going straight thru' the many sets of Traffic Lights until you come to a T junction (about 1 mile), Sainsbury's Homebase is directly ahead of you.

At the lights turn left and then immediately (20yards) there is another set of lights, turn right into Queen St (there should be a Mercedes-Benz dealership on your right). Go down Queen St and straight over the mini-roundabout, follow the road down the hill and after the Pelican Crossing, turn right into Syke Street (Avenham Multi-Storey Car Park is on the left).

As Syke Street starts to bear left, turn right into Cross St. Guildhall St is the 2nd right. The Chambers are 50 yards up on the right hand side.

Alternatively it is just as easy to park in the Fishergate car park, which is fairly well signposted throughout the town centre.
